Polimoda Professional Training is the Polimoda division devoted to training companies and professionals.
The courses offered by Polimoda an opportunity to increase knowledge and enhance skill set in the fashion sector. These courses are designed for professionals and companies or they can be customised in cooperation with the company to ensure that their needs are met.
The courses, taught by recognised experts in the sector, can be held in person at Polimoda locations or online.
Since Polimoda is also an accredited agency of the Tuscany region and is UNI ISO 9001:2015-certified, it also offers free courses to private individuals and companies thanks to funding from the European Social Fund, provided by the Regions or the European Union.
Polimoda provides all the necessary teaching materials for the courses. This also includes access to Polimoda Library, which holds one of the world’s most valuable international collections of books, magazines and documents on fashion. Certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the courses.
Over the years, Polimoda Professional Training has trained some of the most important brands in fashion such as: Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, Tod’s, Loro Piana, and Yoox. Moreover, since 2017, Polimoda has been chosen as a centre of excellence by the LVMH group for the development of its training programme in the leather goods sector, within its Institute des Metiers d’Exellence.
Polimoda is a non-profit-making association that carries out and promotes study, training and documentation activities in the field of applied arts and activities in fashion and costume, open to participants of all nationalities and to the business world.
