Course focus
How to develop business ideas in the fashion sector? The answer to this question is the focus of the course: participants will learn how to combine creativity with a successful business plan. The training programme will provide all the knowledge necessary to develop a startup in the fashion industry. Different organisational models will be presented and it will be possible to meet professionals from the financial world interested in investing in new business opportunities.
Course aim
The aim of the course is to help participants bring their business idea to life within the ecosystem of fashion startups. The issues under the microscope will therefore include choosing the most suitable type of company, creating an effective business plan, and sourcing and attracting the investment required to carry out the project.
Course structure
The course begins with a presentation of the fashion sector before examining economic aspects and financial planning and then looking at ways of promoting startups and obtaining funding. It consists of the following modules:
- the fashion market, customers and competitors;
- elements of business economics;
- management and planning;
- digital marketing;
- business plans;
- regional and European funding and public calls for tenders.
Outcomes / Skills acquired
By the end of the course participants will have acquired all the skills they need to launch, manage and develop a startup in the fashion sector, beginning with the creation of a strategy consistent with the pre-established goals.
They will be able to formulate, with a consistent business plan, a clear business approach, they will understand the fashion market and the legal aspects connected with running a startup, and they will know how to identify and reach the right target audience.
