HR AND SUSTAINABILITY IN FASHION

Corporate social responsibility, the wellbeing and growth of human capital, sustainable production methods: the new tasks of the HR Manager

Course focus

The topic of sustainability, part of every business agenda, calls for company plans to include new economic, social and environmental goals.

The concept of corporate social responsibility has also gained traction in the fashion industry. These changes must be encouraged and governed, and require the active engagement of human capital. The sharing of sustainability goals with employees and workers, with respect for different ideas and cultures, is absolutely essential if these targets are to be achieved. In this context, the presence of a professional figure that knows how to manage the transition towards increasingly sustainable production methods, overseeing the training and growth of personnel, is of the utmost importance.

Course aim

Applying the principles of responsibility, ethics, safety and corporate and social wellbeing in the fashion industry requires the presence of professional figures that understand the sector and know how to harmoniously introduce virtuous sustainable behaviours. Energy savings, use of renewable sources, circular economy, recycling of waste: these are just some of the measures that the HR Manager for sustainability must know how to introduce with the involvement of directors, management and employees, displaying a blend of skills essential for the growth of the company itself.
